The OCR (Optical Character Recognition) operator enables the automatic recognition and extraction of text from image data or PDF documents stored in a data bus bit. The operator analyzes binary content (e.g., an image of a scanned document or a PDF attachment) and converts it into text that can be further processed within the GRAVITY system.
The recognized text is saved as a new data bus bit or overwrites an existing text bit, depending on the operator configuration.

The operator processes each record of the data bus, and writes the text recognition result to a text bit in the processed record.
OPERATOR CONFIGURATION
Configuring the operator consists of selecting the data bus bit that carries the binary data (the In bit field), the bit where the recognized text will be saved (the Out bit field), and the data format from which the operator should recognize text (IMG or PDF).
