The WIDTH OF BUSBAR operator is used to extend the structure of the data bus by adding new bits (columns) to existing records. The new bits can have default values defined or be populated with data copied from other bits of the same bus.
This operator is particularly useful in situations where the bus needs to be prepared for further processing—for example, by other operators that require the presence of additional fields with specific values. This makes it possible to supplement the data structure without interfering with the data source.
The operator does not change the number of records—it only modifies the width of the data bus, providing full control over the data structure in subsequent processing stages.

OPERATOR CONFIGURATION
You can add new bits to the operator’s output bus by clicking an empty row in the list.
After entering the name, select the data type in the Data type column. If you want to copy data from another bus bit, select the bit in the Input column field. You can also enter a default value for the bus bit in the Constans value column.
To remove one or more bits, right-click the record to open the context menu.
