Automatic Invocation via Database Notification Mechanism

Execution of a database notification–based invocation is carried out in the following steps:

1. Start the Gravity.exe application.
2. Create a project (option PROJECTS). If you are passing data through a notification (PostgreSQL), the project should include a parameter, or the INPUT DATA operator, to receive the transmitted data.
3. Create a database notification at the database server level.

4. Add a Database-type trigger (option TRIGGERS) and choose the database connection.

Because different database servers implement notification mechanisms differently, notifications are handled in various ways depending on the database type of the selected connection. For this reason, GRAVITY configuration also varies depending on the database system.
5. Start the GravityTriggersRunner.exe server application or restart the gravity.integration service.

The project will be started when the database event monitored by the defined trigger occurs.
