Automatic Trigger by Detecting a New File in a Directory

The execution of a trigger based on detecting a new file in a directory is performed through the following steps:

  1. Launch the Gravity.exe application.
  2. Create a project (option PROJECTS). A project invoked by this type of trigger should contain at least one INPUT FILE operator.
  3. Add a File-type trigger (option TRIGGERS), and specify the directory that will be monitored for new files.
  4. Start the GravityTriggersRunner.exe server application or restart the gravity.integration service.

The process will be triggered when a file appears in the directory specified in the trigger configuration.
