To create a connection to a MongoDB server, select MongoDB and click the New… button.

Provide its name and the MongoDB server details in the connection form. You can enter access parameters such as Driver, Host, Port, User and Password. In that case, the system will generate the appropriate Connection string automatically when connecting to the MongoDB server. Alternatively, you can take full control of the connection setup and enter your own Connection string. If the Connection string field is not empty, the system will not generate one automatically; instead, it will use the entered Connection string when creating the connection.
After defining the connection parameters, it’s time to test the connection. Use the Test connection button for this. If the connection is successful, you can select the database you want to use (the Database field) and save the connection using the Save button.
