Automatic Invocation via the AS2 Server

The AS2 server invocation process consists of the following steps:

1. Launch the Gravity.exe application.
2. Configure the AS2 server.
3. Add one or more partners.
4. Create a project (option PROJECTS).

If you want to pass data received by the AS2 server to the project, it has to include a parameter — either text or binary — to receive the data, and a text parameter to receive the unique message identifier. The system automatically returns an MDN (Message Disposition Notification) to the partner after project execution, depending on the result: failed or processed.

5. Add an AS2 Server-type trigger (option TRIGGERS).

To handle multiple EDI document types, the GRAVITY software requires a separate trigger for each document type.

6. Launch the GravityTriggersRunner.exe server application or restart the gravity.integration service.

The specific project will be executed once the AS2 server receives a message and matches its document type to the defined trigger.
